I never needed a licence to drive before but since my husband's accident it was now imperative that I obtain one, so I looked through the phonebook for a driving school within a reasonable distance from my home. If one of them wanted to move house then the other followed. Both Michael and David went to the same nursery school, the same primary school and on to the same secondary school. It was suggested to my mother by her husband that she go to a driving school, because of his nervousness when being in the passenger seat when she was driving. He was basically the only person that rode in the car with her, not because of others' fears of her driving, but merely because that's the way their lives were set up. She had refused for many years to succumb to his suggestions that she need to enroll into a driving school, but she had at that point recently become so annoyed by his constant badgering that she finally agreed to it. After she looked for a few days for a driving school that suited her tastes, she finally went. Of course, the fees were paid by her husband (my step father) since it was more important to him than it was to her. She completed the 4 week program, and hoped that she had relinquished her husband's fears and hence put an end to his constant picking at her while she was driving. Incidentally, he was not able to drive due to a panic disorder which caused him severe enough panic attacks that he had passed out at the wheel a few times. One of those times led to an awful crash, of which the details here will not be repeated due to the depressing content.

Just recently my son has turned sixteen years old and my husband wanted to buy him a motorbike. He argued it would be cheaper then a car and would still get him around to the places he had to go but I had thought that while a motorbike may have been cheaper it would also be more dangerous. I had argued back that if our son had god for bid ever got into an accident that the cost to repair any damage to our son, his motorbike, and any one else he could have hurt would be even greater. He had given up and asked what I wanted to do and I had told him of a plan that would be spread out over a few months. We would have to find a driving instructor with the best driving lessons prices, find an inexpensive car, compile a list of insurance groups, and choose the one that had offered the best plan. He had agreed that my plan was better and I knew we both appreciated the idea of a plan that took place over months. We would need the extra time to get enough money together. Driving lessons prices were unbelievable it was as if you were trying to pay a down payment on a ford focus. Everything was out of price range and we both really wanted a professional driving instructor so our son could be taught by someone who was very up to date with any new driving laws and who knew everything about driving. My husband and I both learned how to drive in the seventies and we knew some stuff had to have changed by now. driving lessons prices was even something that we had heard our friends constantly discussing when it came to there own children. My girlfriend was planning to learn how to drive, so she wanted to take a driving lessons course for women. Not that I would be a misogynist but, as you well know, women are not usually well acquainted with the idea of driving, nor are they the best drivers. So we started looking for a well experienced instructor which would help her learn how to drive and prepare her for the driving licence exam. The agency we found was well renowned in our area for having some of the best instructors in the country, so she registered for the first driving lessons course, since I personally believe that it is important to have a very good interaction between the instructor and the student, otherwise the instructor will not be able to educate the student. It might be worthwhile to mention that, before registering to the driving school, I gave her some lessons out of the city and allowed her to get acquainted with driving a car, I thought it might have been good to do this in order to get her better acquainted with driving before starting the driving lessons course. It might also be worth to mention that she prepared each driving lessons course well, studying the manual from cover to back, even though she did get the instructor pretty scared up in numerous occasions during the driving test because he thought she was too self-confident!! :)

I just turned 18 and I am ready to go ahead and get my driver's license. It took me awhile to complete the driver's classes, but I finally did it. My little brother is on his way to take his driver's test too. Nowadays, with the new technology, he has a simulated driving class too. At the end of the course, he must take an online test in order to complete his driver's program. I took an online testand passed it with flying colors. After that,I had to get real driving hours, aproximitly 60 hrs in order to take my road test. After takingthe rules of the road online test, I was ready for my road examination. On the day of, I was very nervous. The female driving instructors were helpful though because theycomplimented memy progress. They knew I was going to pass the drivers road test with flying colors.

Henry had lived beside his current neighbour for five years coming next month. He wasn't much fond of Joe. It was according to Henry himself that he wasn't too defensive about the small infractions that had in time become a swelling rift between the two, most of the time he felt he could let it pass but on this occasion his ever so slightly defensive nature was becoming stretched to it's limit. Waking up on a bright Sunday morning and allowing for a reasonable time to pass between coffee and breakfast to read the local morning paper, Henry noted a large advert for skip hire prices. 'Who in there right mind would pay such skip hire prices when you can carry most common useless household goods in your motor to local skip but five miles from the city centre' he thought to himself. After a grand English breakfast with all the trimmings eggs, bacon, bean, sausages and toast, Henry stretched and approached the window only to have his question unfortunately answered. ‘Who in their right mind would pay such skip hire prices...? Joe would!’ Not only had he paid for it but he parked it right outside on the pavement half covering Henry’s driveway so that if he decided to take his faithful sky blue motor out for a drive he would have to take her onto his grass to pass this, in his opinion, unsightly over-grown metal bin. Henry thought about marching over to Joe’s doorstep straight away but came to the conclusion to let this notion pass. Joe’s smug glance and accusations of a defensive nature would be the limit so he had to think of another way. After much deliberation Henry decided to call Brian at the local tow truck company. Henry and Brian had been drinking buddies for over twenty years and had always seen eye to eye in most situations. Within half an hour Brian appeared on Henry’s doorstep greeting each other with a warm handshake. After a little time and coffee, Brian kindly took away the skip and for the little extra money Henry slipped in his top pocket he removed Joe’s motor too!
