what Transport

Sometimes i feel a little bit sorry for driving instructors. I think about the different sides of people they must see every day. People in good moods one minute then a bad mood the next minute just because they maybe got something wrong. Smiles turning in to tears, they really see it all but i somehow think that it must make those drivers very emotional people in themselves.

I am an hgv driver for an auto car dealership. The company pays for my insurance on my truck which is a bonus seeing as i sometimes have to drive miles to pick up specialist parts or deliver them to other dealers. It can be quite a boring job when i have to go on long drives to the dealerships as i don't have no partner on my trips its just me and the radio which normally has nothing on worth listening to.

I have worked for the auto car dealership for little over a year now as their hgv driver and as I'm the only one they currently have it can be very stressful work and often without a rest when i get to the other end. I've lost count of just how many times i have had to miss my lunch because i have been late getting somewhere to drop off parts. I have moaned and moaned to the company to try and get them to get another driver as it only takes me to get too tired and fall asleep and end up having an accident which would obviously come out of their insurance.

Maybe the insurance doesn't really matter to them, but if i crashed the vehicle then they wouldn't have any more drivers to do it, so i just have to keep nagging to the manager although he has agreed to try and hire another hgv driver. It just couldn't come sooner for my liking, maybe I'll take a holiday and let the boss drive see how bad it really is. For such a big auto dealership i have never worked somewhere so unorganized ever before. I don't want to quit because it pays my bills but i am seriously thinking about trying to find other jobs while i work here.
