It is basically a course to prove that you are safe to ride a moped on the roads and that you have the requisite safety equipment to ride a moped safely.

Classic cars are a wonderful piece of history, many people buy a rundown classic car and turn it into a project to restore it to its former glory. If your classic car is built before 1973 you are exempt form paying any road tax. However if your car does break down, it may prove difficult to source spare parts and having them specially made would cost a lot of money.

Many owners of classic cars take them along to motor shows dotted around the country. It gives visitors a chance to see something from a grand motor history. It can be a very popular show to go to.

Many motor shows are free to visit. One of the best places to visit is the National Motor Museum in Hampshire.

Another great motoring event to visit would be the annual festival of speed at Goodwood. I haven't been there myself, I do plan to do so in the future.
