Bob is out of school for the summer, and now he has to find some cheap driving lessons before he can get his license. He bought this classic car last December and has been working on it during all of his spare time. The only thing is Bob has encountered one problem. He did not pass his driving lessons in school.

Bob was this type of guy that thought he knew everything and didn’t have to study for anything, and the reason for that was he was a big high school football player. In our school, when you play football, you are king of the school. Just before school got out, the class took an online test to see if they could pass their exam when getting your driver’s license, and Bob failed his.

He could still go down and try for it, but it would be very hard to get one being he failed this course. Now he is looking for some cheap driving lessons so he can drive back and forth to school next year. If you took them during school, you got a discount of 75%, because the school paid for the rest. Bob is now really in a mess, and he has no idea of what to do. He called the surrounding schools to talk to their Driver’s Ed instructor, and he only found one that was not full for the summer.

The only problem is that Bob is 15 miles from the town. His parents both work, and his only transportation is his sister, and she would want gas money every time she had to go that far for him. She charges him gas money just to go to the mall, so his bike and him have gotten quite close. It takes longer to get there, but at least he is richer at the end of the day.

He decided to go ahead with these cheap driving lessons and was hoping his Dad would give him an advance in his allowance. Bob also knew he would have to mow the lawn, take out the trash, and groom the dog every day for the next year to pay his Dad for everything. At least he is willing to do it, just so he can get his cheap driving lessons paid for in advance.

Bob’s last words were to his Dad was, from now on I will listen in class and not be a show off to anyone or anything. He made the comment to his Dad, that he has learned a valuable lesson.
